Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Victor Ekerot took the kick off in the first half of the match. Månkarbo IF's Gustav Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Ekerot in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Oskar Stabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Vallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Saxdalen FK got a freekick which was hit by Georg Björk. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saxdalen FK's goalkeeper Gunnar Östlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Holger Söderström charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Holger Söderström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Oskar Stabbe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustav Vallengren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Pontus Koch came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Månkarbo IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Koch couldn't finish the play. Eric Klintæus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ove Molander kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Pontus Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Månkarbo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Koch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Östlund made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Eric Klintæus sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Månkarbo IF's Holger Söderström got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pontus Koch in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Östlund saved Saxdalen FK from getting behind. After 44 played minutes, Månkarbo IF's Christer Bolin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gunnar Östlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Månkarbo IF reached it. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saxdalen FK's goalkeeper Gunnar Östlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pontus Koch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Pontus Koch came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Månkarbo IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Koch couldn't finish the play. Gunnar Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Koch in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Eric Klintæus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Ekerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ingvar Andersson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Gunnarsson in the 71st minute of play forced Månkarbo IF's goalkeeper Gustav Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes of play, Månkarbo IF's Pontus Koch made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Östlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gunnar Östlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pontus Koch's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Saxdalen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Klintæus came free, but Gunnar Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Dag Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Nordstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gustav Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pontus Koch in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Östlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Klintæus in the 93rd minute of play forced Saxdalen FK's goalkeeper Gunnar Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Östlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Koch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
