The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Olle Burman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHASSEGÅRDEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Burman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manchester City's Karl-Ove Alrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Lundin in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Burman in the 26th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Alrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viggo Lundin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Ove Alrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Viggo Lundin made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Ove Alrot. Manchester City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Manchester City's Karl-Ove Alrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Burman in the 35th minute of play. Olof Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Åkerström having to interfere. Olle Burman charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olle Burman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CHASSEGÅRDEN's Olle Burman got a free kick in the 39th minute. Olof Lund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Erling Åkerström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Olof Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Lund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Åkerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ronny Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronny Kellbom to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Alf Lundin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CHASSEGÅRDEN the free kick. Alf Lundin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when CHASSEGÅRDEN's Viggo Lundin in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Karl-Ove Alrot was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Manchester City through an amazing save. In the 54th minute, Sten Gråberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viggo Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Alrot having to interfere. With a little luck, Manchester City's Karl-Ove Alrot got control of the ball when Olle Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viggo Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, CHASSEGÅRDEN's Karl-Ove Alrot threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viggo Lundin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sten Gråberg hit a great ball. CHASSEGÅRDEN's Edgar Lilja couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Manchester City. Olof Lund struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Erling Åkerström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester City. Olof Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CHASSEGÅRDEN's zone, Fritz Hellsing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erling Åkerström came out of the goal and Fritz Hellsing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erling Åkerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erling Åkerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Kellbom in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Tobias Lundgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHASSEGÅRDEN and the Manchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manchester City booed when CHASSEGÅRDEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Ronny Kellbom in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CHASSEGÅRDEN had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
