Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Karlsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wilhelm Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Kvick in the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Hugo Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finspång's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Stålberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Åke Nässén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Åke Nässén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Åke Nässén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Torstensson having to interfere. Wilhelm Stålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Kvick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Wilhelm Stålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Granbergsdal's Henrik Sandström got a free kick in the 30th minute. Alf Tillman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilhelm Stålberg. Granbergsdal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven-Åke Nässén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Torstensson having to interfere. If Sven-Åke Nässén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Granbergsdal's Wilhelm Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Persson in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Åke Nässén to make the kick off. Adam Holmgren scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Åke Torstensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Henrik Kvick came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Finspång fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Kvick couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes Hugo Karlsson rounded Granbergsdal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Henrik Kvick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Wilhelm Stålberg made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Sven-Åke Nässén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Granbergsdal's Sven-Åke Nässén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Åke Torstensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute Sven-Åke Nässén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Torstensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Granbergsdal's Wilhelm Stålberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Granbergsdal from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Adam Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granbergsdal's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 91st minute, Adam Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
