Spectators: 7074 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Karlsson kicked off to start the match. Nils-Åke Torstensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Gammalkils IF's Tage Klementsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Gammalkils IF from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute Hugo Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tage Klementsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Åke Torstensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Åke Torstensson came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gammalkils IF's Karl-Michael Bergqvist. But to his dismay, Karl-Michael Bergqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute, Karl-Michael Bergqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Åke Torstensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Karl-Michael Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 33 played minutes, Gammalkils IF's Sebastian Jansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nils-Åke Torstensson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gammalkils IF reached it. 37 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Dahlkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nils-Åke Torstensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tage Klementsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Kvick in the 41st minute. Tage Klementsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Karlsson in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Gammalkils IF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Henrik Kvick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrik Kvick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Klementsson having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finspång's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Torstensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute Karl-Michael Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Torstensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Finspång's Henrik Kvick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tage Klementsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Nils-Åke Torstensson was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Karl-Michael Bergqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Michael Bergqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Karl-Michael Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nils-Åke Torstensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Åke Torstensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Karl-Michael Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Michael Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Torstensson having to interfere. Nils-Åke Torstensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Michael Bergqvist's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
