With his leg Wilhelm Stålberg managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Kolmården BK's Agne Stålberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 20 minutes into the game, Granbergsdal's Sven-Åke Nässén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Strandberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Granbergsdal's Sven-Åke Nässén got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agne Stålberg got free with Wilhelm Stålberg in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Adam Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Strandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adam Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harald Strandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute.
