Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charles Myr kicked off to start the match. Kolmården BK's Harald Strandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Karlsson in the 3rd minute of play. Charles Myr struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Nils-Åke Torstensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kolmården BK. Charles Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Finspång's Nils-Åke Torstensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Finspång from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Nils Nyman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolmården BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finspång the free kick. Nils Nyman hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Alf Tillman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harald Strandberg. Kolmården BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Henrik Kvick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Charles Myr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Agne Stålberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nils-Åke Torstensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrik Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harald Strandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Karlsson made a kick off. Agne Stålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nils-Åke Torstensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd match minute, Finspång was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Persson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Finspång's zone, Agne Stålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Torstensson came out of the goal and Agne Stålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Agne Stålberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes Finspång got a freekick which was hit by Stig Hedlund. Henrik Valler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nils-Åke Torstensson. Finspång's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nils-Åke Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Myr in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Finspång's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henrik Valler was slow to take the kick. During this time Kolmården BK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Kolmården BK's corner Henrik Valler fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nils-Åke Torstensson quite easily take care of the ball. Charles Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agne Stålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Torstensson having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Hugo Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finspång's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Agne Stålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Torstensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Åke Torstensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agne Stålberg's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
