Mango IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valbo the free kick. Pål Bergman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Askstedt in the 42nd minute of play forced Valbo's goalkeeper Robert Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Snell to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes, Valbo's Joseph Hagström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pontus Grubb came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valbo reached it. Victor Snell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Valbo's zone, Christian Askstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Lundgren came out of the goal and Christian Askstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pontus Grubb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Snell's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. If William Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Mango IK's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Snell came free, but Pontus Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mango IK's Jonny Valström got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Mango IK's goal looked a bit too open when William Gummeson came free, but Pontus Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
