Lars-Erik Gustavsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mango IK's zone, Ivar Engström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pontus Grubb came out of the goal and Ivar Engström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samba Holm's Joakim Hultstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Askstedt in the 18th minute of play. Christian Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Hultstrand having to interfere. Birger Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Pål Bergman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mango IK and the Samba Holm players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mango IK's Pål Bergman got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Christian Askstedt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 43rd minute Christian Askstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Hultstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Birger Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mango IK's Christian Askstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Askstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Mango IK fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Mango IK's Christian Askstedt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lars-Erik Gustavsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Pontus Grubb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samba Holm. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Birger Kvick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mango IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Kvick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Hultstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Samba Holm's zone, Christian Askstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Hultstrand came out of the goal and Christian Askstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Askstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Hultstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Askstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Martinsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Christian Askstedt took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joakim Hultstrand. Joakim Hultstrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Filip Martinsson fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samba Holm's protests and gave Filip Martinsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Filip Martinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Melker Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mango IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melker Hafström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Christian Askstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Hultstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pål Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Joakim Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mango IK's Birger Kvick got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars-Erik Gustavsson struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Pontus Grubb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samba Holm. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Lars-Erik Gustavsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lars-Erik Gustavsson in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pontus Grubb, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. There was no doubt that Mango IK were the better team. Mango IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
