After having played for 3 minutes, Gottfrid Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Lundby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottfrid Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Axel Fribäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Felix Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Bank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Holmberg in the 10th minute of play. Kaj Holmberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Bank read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Georg Bank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the IFK Lundby defense, Kaj Holmberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georg Bank. The IFK Lundby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georg Bank should have stopped the shot. Emil Dahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Georg Bank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emil Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Unesson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Holmberg in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Bank prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, CF Dunder Mifflin's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfrid Fransson came free, but Felix Åkerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaj Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Bank having to interfere. Emil Dahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The IFK Lundby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CF Dunder Mifflin were winning 0-1.

If Emil Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CF Dunder Mifflin booed when IFK Lundby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Dahlqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Bank. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Dahlqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Emil Dahlqvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kaj Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Boström kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Tor Vester was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Holmberg in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Bank prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georg Bank stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaj Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. IFK Lundby's Gottfrid Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emil Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Emil Dahlqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CF Dunder Mifflin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. CF Dunder Mifflin played a much better game than IFK Lundby and deserved their victory. The IFK Lundby players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
