Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastian Eriksson started the match with the kick off. Sebastian Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Kurt Österberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 9th minute Bror Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Lundin in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Överlida BK's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Wassenius came free, but Erik Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Thoretz were awarded a corner. Kurt Österberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Thoretz's Kurt Österberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erik Hansson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Vincent Wassenius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Hansson. Överlida BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Wassenius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sebastian Eriksson struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Martin Grelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Överlida BK. Erik Hansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Wassenius's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Erik Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Hansson having to interfere. Thoretz's Bror Lundin got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bror Lundin scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Vincent Wassenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thoretz's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Wassenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Hansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Wassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Thoretz were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Överlida BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Bror Lundin scored to the left of an out of position Erik Hansson, making the score, 0-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Överlida BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Thoretz a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kurt Österberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Överlida BK's Erik Hansson. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Lundin in the 59th minute of play forced Överlida BK's goalkeeper Erik Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Bror Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thoretz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bror Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Petter Tingberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Hansson was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Erik Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Lundin in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Bror Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thoretz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bror Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Överlida BK's zone, Filip Ahlrot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Hansson came out of the goal and Filip Ahlrot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Vincent Wassenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Hansson was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Erik Hansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Wassenius in the 85th minute. If Bror Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Överlida BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Lundin came free, but Erik Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bror Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Hansson having to interfere. Alvar Wallin took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Hansson. Erik Hansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Thoretz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
