In the 4thth minute of the game Fabian Ivarsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sustler FC's Bengt Lidberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Per-Oskar Haraldsson charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Oskar Haraldsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sustler FC booed when Sorsele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Haraldsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Flinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Ström in the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sustler FC's goalkeeper Bengt Lidberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sorsele's Fabian Ivarsson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fabian Ivarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Bengt Lidberg made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Felix Helberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Göran Nordgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sustler FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorsele the free kick. In the 30th minute, Göran Nordgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Börje Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 36th minute of the match Per-Oskar Haraldsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Per-Oskar Haraldsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Per-Oskar Haraldsson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sustler FC's Leonard Melander tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Börje Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Flinck having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Birger Blomquist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bengt Lidberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Ström was the one to do the kick off. Bengt Lidberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Blomquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Felix Helberg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Sustler FC's Bengt Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Smefeldt in the 58th minute of play. Birger Blomquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt Lidberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Fors in the 62nd minute of play forced Sustler FC's goalkeeper Bengt Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Fabian Ivarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sorsele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sustler FC the free kick. A collision led to Sorsele getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fabian Ivarsson hit a great ball. The supporters of Sustler FC booed when Sorsele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Leonard Melander sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sorsele's Ingvar Flinck didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Börje Ström put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ingvar Flinck. After having played for 88 minutes, Birger Blomquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorsele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Blomquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Birger Blomquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sustler FC's Bengt Lidberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt Lidberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Ivarsson in the 96th minute of play. Birger Blomquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt Lidberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birger Blomquist ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sustler FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sorsele.
