The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivar Wester made a kick off. After 55 played minutes, Furuvik IF's Philip Bengtsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernst Biörkquist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Furuvik IF reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivar Wester in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Emil Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils-Emil Johansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Michael Lindgren in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ivar Wester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vargön IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Wester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Emil Johansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Furuvik IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Wester came free, but Nils-Emil Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Furuvik IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vargön IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
