Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Yngve Nordlund started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Graninge IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Sellberg to maneuver through the defense. Henric Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Isak Dalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yngve Nordlund hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Yngve Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Dalman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Graninge IFK's Mattias Martinsson got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Karungi FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Forss came free, but Sven Ahlrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Dalman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yngve Nordlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Karlsson in the 30th minute of play forced Graninge IFK's goalkeeper Isak Dalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Forss in the 33rd minute of play forced Karungi FF's goalkeeper Sven Ahlrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Olof Forss hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Yngve Nordlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isak Dalman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Andy Burman hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Olof Forss made a kick off. Lars-Erik Hellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars-Erik Hellkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Moberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Henric Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karungi FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yngve Nordlund struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Isak Dalman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karungi FF. A collision led to Graninge IFK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jonatan Moberg hit a great ball. If Yngve Nordlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yngve Nordlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Lars-Erik Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Graninge IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars-Erik Hellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Ahlrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jan-Olof Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan-Olof Forss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Ahlrot having to interfere. Karungi FF played a much better game than Graninge IFK and deserved their victory. The Graninge IFK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
