Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Hova RK's Nils Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esbjörn Tidéksson in the 7th minute of play. Nils Matsson was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Esbjörn Tidéksson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esbjörn Tidéksson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Oliver Biörk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Matsson having to interfere. When Yngve Arvidsson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ankarsrum RK's protests and gave Yngve Arvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ankarsrum RK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Yngve Arvidsson hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Ankarsrum RK's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Danielsson came free, but Martin Örtlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Peter Asserlind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Danielsson in the 22nd minute of play. Esbjörn Tidéksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Daniel Bäckman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ankarsrum RK and the Hova RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ankarsrum RK's Daniel Bäckman got a free kick in the 29th minute. Oliver Biörk might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Matsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Biörk ran back to his position shaking his head. Esbjörn Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nils Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Collin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliver Biörk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nils Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esbjörn Tidéksson was the one to do the kick off. If Esbjörn Tidéksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Esbjörn Tidéksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankarsrum RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esbjörn Tidéksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Örtlund having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Christer Söderman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Biörk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Biörk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Matsson having to interfere. In the 87th minute Filiph Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Matsson came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ankarsrum RK's Esbjörn Tidéksson. But to his dismay, Esbjörn Tidéksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
