After 8 minutes of play, IFK Tumba's Sigvard Ek made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calle Arvidsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! IFK Tumba's Jörgen Telin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Arne Söderqwist in the 12th minute of play. Sigvard Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Arvidsson having to interfere. Per-Arne Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigvard Ek struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Calle Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Tumba. If Fredric Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Sigvard Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Tumba's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvard Ek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the game, Fredric Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Tumba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kumla BK the free kick. In the 35th match minute, IFK Tumba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredric Åberg to maneuver through the defense. If Fredric Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Kumla BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Hjälm to maneuver through the defense. IFK Tumba's Fredric Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Åberg in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calle Arvidsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredric Åberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calle Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Ek in the 51st minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, IFK Tumba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Östman to maneuver through the defense. The IFK Tumba fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when IFK Tumba's Sigvard Ek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fredric Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Arvidsson having to interfere. Calle Arvidsson came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Tumba's Sigvard Ek. But to his dismay, Sigvard Ek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 94th match minute, Kumla BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Kjellbom to maneuver through the defense. Sigvard Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Calle Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. IFK Tumba had played much better football throughout.
