In the 3rdth minute of the game Dick Mossberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Örbyhus's Vilgot Göransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Örbyhus defense, Dick Mossberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilgot Göransson. The Örbyhus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilgot Göransson should have stopped the shot. Dick Mossberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Göransson having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Örbyhus's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Mossberg came free, but Vilgot Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Mossberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilgot Göransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Vilgot Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Damm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Örbyhus's Vilgot Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Kleen in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Örbyhus's Wilhelm Svensson got a free kick in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Stocksund IK's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Kvarnström came free, but Jonathan Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffan Damm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dick Mossberg sped through Örbyhus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vilgot Göransson. Staffan Damm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Vilgot Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Staffan Damm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stocksund IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Staffan Damm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joar Flinck kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Vilgot Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Mossberg in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dick Mossberg made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Stocksund IK's Dick Mossberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilgot Göransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dick Mossberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilgot Göransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Stocksund IK's Dick Mossberg got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Staffan Damm struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Vilgot Göransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stocksund IK. Dick Mossberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Göransson having to interfere. Staffan Damm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Vilgot Göransson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Manfred Boberg came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Örbyhus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Boberg couldn't finish the play. Staffan Damm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Vilgot Göransson made a huge save. In the 87th minute of the match, Dick Mossberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vilgot Göransson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 88th minute, Stocksund IK's Dick Mossberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. If Dick Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Örbyhus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stocksund IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
