In the 51st minute Hannes Liljeström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Liljeström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Inge Hallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joakim Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Liljeström in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bertil Sävström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Bergqvist was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Långviksmon fully deserved thier win.
