Hans Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Hans Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match Stellan Wållander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfons Billvall showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Tararps raggarna if's Harry Johnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Harry Johnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Lindgren was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Vennerlund during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Jim Vennerlund got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United FC's zone, Harry Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Tidéksson in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonatan Löfskog might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfons Billvall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Löfskog ran back to his position shaking his head. Manchester United FC's Hans Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Tidéksson in the 29th minute of play. Tararps raggarna if's Harry Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joachim Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hans Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Harry Johnsson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tararps raggarna if fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Johnsson couldn't finish the play. Hans Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Tidéksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Jim Vennerlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Tidéksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Johnsson in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Lindgren saved Manchester United FC from getting behind. If Joachim Tidéksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatan Löfskog to make the kick off. Hans Lindgren was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Harry Johnsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harry Johnsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Joachim Tidéksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 64th minute, but Hans Lindgren got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Manchester United FC hanging dry this time. In the 65thth minute of the game Harry Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United FC's Hans Lindgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joachim Tidéksson in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hans Lindgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hans Lindgren was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Harry Johnsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harry Johnsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 76 minutes into the match, Knut Mårtensson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tararps raggarna if's Alfons Billvall. Alfons Billvall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joachim Tidéksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Lindgren having to interfere. If Harry Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Dalgren. Hans Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Johnsson in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Tararps raggarna if left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manchester United FC.
