After some careless play in the Gammelstad defense, Kurt Malmström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Svanström. The Gammelstad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Svanström should have stopped the shot. André Svanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngve Vik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Gammelstad got a freekick which was hit by Anders Olsson. Yngve Vik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Örsundsbro FF were awarded a corner. Ingvar Stenberg went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ingvar Stenberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this André Svanström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Gammelstad's Magne Jonasson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Örsundsbro FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Söderström to maneuver through the defense.
