Rune Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Allan Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Sixten Stålberg. Stockaryd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Allan Petersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixten Stålberg was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Stockholm City's goalkeeper Boris Sundling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elliott Sjöström. Stockaryd's Elliott Sjöström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 17 played minutes Stockholm City got a freekick which was hit by Allan Petersson. Boris Sundling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christer Skog's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, Allan Petersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Per Hammarberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixten Stålberg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Elliott Sjöström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Elliott Sjöström notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Stockholm City's Boris Sundling. Boris Sundling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Christer Skog came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Stockaryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Skog couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christer Skog made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Stockaryd's Christer Skog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boris Sundling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rune Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Sjöström in the 63rd minute of play forced Stockholm City's goalkeeper Boris Sundling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliott Sjöström in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boris Sundling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stockaryd's Christer Skog got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elliott Sjöström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christer Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75th play minutes Elliott Sjöström shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Boris Sundling and just under the crossbar into goal. Boris Sundling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Skog went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Stockholm City defense, Christer Skog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boris Sundling. The Stockholm City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boris Sundling should have stopped the shot. Christer Skog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Boris Sundling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Christer Skog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Sundling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes in the game, Allan Petersson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sixten Stålberg having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stockaryd had played much better football throughout.
