Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Patric Ahlroth got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Bruksvallarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Holm to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Jespersson in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Söderlund saved Bruksvallarna from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Jespersson in the 9th minute of play forced Bruksvallarna's goalkeeper Fred Söderlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Marcus Jespersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fred Söderlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. John Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Jespersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomas Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Ahlroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes, Jens-Ola Sundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruksvallarna and the Hif United players grew even worse after the yellow card. When John Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Hif United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Olofsson couldn't finish the play. Thomas Vallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patric Ahlroth in the 89th minute of the match. Ronny Kellberg charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Kellberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Bruksvallarna got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Kellberg. In the 93rd minute Marcus Jespersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Söderlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bruksvallarna's Patric Ahlroth in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hif United's goalie prevented a goal. The Hif United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hif United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
