Viktor Classon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Broby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. Alf Clementsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alf Dahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kennedy FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Brogren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Broby United's Leonard Lundqvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kennedy FF. In the 32nd minute of the match Sten Åberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Dahlkvist skillfully saved the ball. Alf Dahlkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Brogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Alf Clementsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kennedy FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Clementsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Victor Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Dahlkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rickard Holm sped through Kennedy FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Staffan Nordmark. When Michael Wallin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. Michael Wallin hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Kvist was the one to do the kick off. Jonas Kvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Staffan Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Alf Clementsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kennedy FF's goalkeeper Staffan Nordmark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jonas Kvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broby United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Kvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Staffan Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Nordmark having to interfere. Kennedy FF's Staffan Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Holm in the 93rd minute of play. Broby United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
