An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Jespersson in the 3rd minute of play forced Kennedy FF's goalkeeper Staffan Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Jespersson in the 7th minute of play. Staffan Nordmark stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Jespersson's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. If John Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Olofsson in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Staffan Nordmark saved Kennedy FF from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Hif United's Frans Igelström got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Mats Valström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hif United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kennedy FF the free kick. In the 16th minute, one of Hif United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hif United. Staffan Nordmark didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Jespersson went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Clementsson got free with Thomas Vallengren in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Thomas Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hif United's zone, Victor Brogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Vallengren came out of the goal and Victor Brogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hif United getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gilbert Classon hit a great ball. Alf Clementsson didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 32nd minute. Kennedy FF's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The supporters of Hif United booed when Kennedy FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Staffan Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Jespersson scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Staffan Nordmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Jespersson to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hif United getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Torsten Jakobsson hit a great ball. 2-4 became the score in the 93rd minute when John Olofsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
