He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Money Team reached it. In the 13th minute Karl Ståhlberg suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 13 minutes into the game, Bo Skarkman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ängelholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Money Team the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ängelholm fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sakarias Edström during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sakarias Edström kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ludwig Granberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per-Arne Fernström. The Money Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Mårten Abrahamsson fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ängelholm's protests and gave Mårten Abrahamsson a yellow card for diving instead. Mårten Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Nils Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Arne Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Ahlén might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Arne Fernström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Ahlén ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to The Money Team getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Johan Tidén hit a great ball. Ängelholm's Mats Martinsson got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Johannes Ahlén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ängelholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Martinsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Nils Tham took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolf Vidman. Rolf Vidman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Johan Tidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Vidman having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Ängelholm got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Ahlén. When Mats Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ängelholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Martinsson couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Nils Tham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Money Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Johan Tidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Vidman having to interfere. When Nils Tham came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the The Money Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Tham couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Nils Tham notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ängelholm's Rolf Vidman. Rolf Vidman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Mats Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johannes Ahlén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Arne Fernström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Johannes Ahlén got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Money Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ängelholm had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
