The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Pål Sillén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Pål Sillén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Holmgren. Gregers Mannar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pål Sillén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Robert Holmgren didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fårbo FF's Pål Sillén shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. William Kilman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krister Gadd in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Fårbo FF's Ronny Pilblad got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knut Finman in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Holmgren saved Gregers Mannar from getting behind. When Knut Finman came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Fårbo FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Finman couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Pål Sillén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fårbo FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 48th minute, Pål Sillén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zebastian Gustavsson was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gregers Mannar's Stefan Wennersten got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pål Sillén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pål Sillén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Wennersten during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gregers Mannar getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Stefan Wennersten hit a great ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Krister Gadd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gregers Mannar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Gadd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Zebastian Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gregers Mannar's supporters rose to their feet, but Zebastian Gustavsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Kilman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Knut Finman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joachim Söderqwist hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fårbo FF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tim Kvalfält hit a great ball. Krister Gadd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Kilman having to interfere. Zebastian Gustavsson took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Kilman. William Kilman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fårbo FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
