Gunnar Markusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Einar Ståhlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hedemora RK's Gunnar Markusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Hedemora RK from getting a goal against them. When Tord Jönsson fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hedemora RK's protests and gave Tord Jönsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Tord Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hedemora RK's Gunnar Markusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Ståhlman in the 17th minute of play. If Christian Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Hedemora RK's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Ståhlman came free, but Gunnar Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Hedemora RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Botvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Kalle Bäck charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kalle Bäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Hedemora RK got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Bäck. Einar Ståhlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gunnar Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Påk in the 35th minute of play forced BK Bofara's goalkeeper Ivan Kickermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Sandell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Kickermann having to interfere. With an all-out effort, BK Bofara's Gunnar Markusson threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Einar Ståhlman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 42 in the game by Christian Högberg from a close distance when the talented Gunnar Markusson managed to make a qualified save. Hedemora RK's players were relieved. Einar Ståhlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Einar Ståhlman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Einar Ståhlman in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Markusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Högberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Christian Högberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hedemora RK's Gunnar Markusson. Gunnar Markusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Högberg in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Markusson saved Hedemora RK from getting behind. Tord Jönsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Hedemora RK's Tord Jönsson got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Högberg in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Einar Ståhlman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunnar Markusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match BK Bofara got a corner. Hedemora RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Örjan Abrahamsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 77 minutes Hedemora RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Örjan Abrahamsson who took care of the corner kick. After 80 played minutes, BK Bofara's Birger Johansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gunnar Markusson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BK Bofara reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Hedemora RK's zone, Christian Högberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Markusson came out of the goal and Christian Högberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Högberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Einar Ståhlman in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Markusson saved Hedemora RK from getting behind. In the 94th minute Allan Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Högberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gunnar Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BK Bofara had won after a very even match.
