The tension between the Vartofta and the Attack FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vartofta getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Anton Bark hit a great ball. Gösta Mickelsson hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Attack FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Hellbom came free, but Adrian Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Smefeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Sundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Hellbom in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Sundström saved Attack FC from getting behind. After 21 played minutes Vartofta got a freekick which was hit by Börge Heggert. Ronny Ahlbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Attack FC's Anton Rosen got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Nils-Åke Skager sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Sundström skillfully saved the ball. In the 31st minute, Hans Hellbom made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Sundström. Attack FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Axelsson in the 34th minute of play forced Vartofta's goalkeeper Georg Telin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hans Hellbom came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Vartofta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Hellbom couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jens-Ove Smefeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Sundström was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Hans Hellbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Hellbom ran back to his position shaking his head. When Hans Hellbom fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vartofta's protests and gave Hans Hellbom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Hans Hellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Attack FC's Georg Telin threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bror Axelsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Hans Hellbom made the kick off in the second half. Hans Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Sundström having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Jens-Ove Smefeldt took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Adrian Sundström to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st match minute, Vartofta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Trulsson to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Bror Axelsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georg Telin. Vartofta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bror Axelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Adrian Sundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Hellbom in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Smefeldt in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Sundström saved Attack FC from getting behind. Hans Hellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Adrian Sundström made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Hellbom in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georg Telin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Axelsson in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Hans Hellbom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adrian Sundström. The goal made the score 1-4. Hans Hellbom struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adrian Sundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vartofta. Adrian Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Smefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
