Spectators: 7165 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonatan Dahlberg got the match started through his kick off. When Jonatan Dahlberg came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ekeby IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Dahlberg couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Lidström during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ekeby IK booed when FC Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Lidström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lars Lidström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 16 minutes had been played. Kent Tingelholm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albin Ahlrot. FC Kickers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dan Källberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Albin Ahlrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albin Ahlrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Källberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adrian Botvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Botvidsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekeby IK's Sebastian Stål proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ekeby IK from getting a goal against them. Dan Källberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Källberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albin Ahlrot having to interfere. Albin Ahlrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Källberg went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ekeby IK's Sebastian Stål proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ekeby IK from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Alf Ennegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Dan Källberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albin Ahlrot. FC Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Källberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Ekeby IK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Botvidsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Kickers's Alf Ennegren got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Åke Edström's late challenge caught a FC Kickers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Åke Edström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Jens-Åke Edström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Åke Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Albin Ahlrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kickers's zone, Dan Källberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albin Ahlrot came out of the goal and Dan Källberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dan Källberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekeby IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Källberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albin Ahlrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 minutes, Alf Ennegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kickers and the Ekeby IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alf Ennegren kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Adrian Botvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC Kickers fans jumped to their feet. The tension between the Ekeby IK and the FC Kickers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Vilgot Wennerlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, FC Kickers's Ted Hedin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 85th minute, Dan Källberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
