The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Ullared fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arne Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Rosendal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Martinsson in the 13th minute of play. Ullared's Ingvar Rosendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Martinsson in the 17th minute of play. Isaac Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Jonasson having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin Martinsson to make the kick off. Tomas Åström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arne Jonasson having to make a save. Isaac Olsson kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Heberg BK's keeper Arne Jonasson was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Robin Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ingvar Rosendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute of the match Sven-Erik Hultin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingvar Rosendal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Yngve Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Ullared got a freekick which was hit by Ola Ekeroth. Yngve Wallgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingvar Rosendal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Heberg BK booed when Ullared was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Yngve Wallgren came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Heberg BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yngve Wallgren couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Johannes Lundblad notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ullared's Ingvar Rosendal. Ingvar Rosendal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
