In the 13th minute Alf Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peder Bank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Albin Ahlrot made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Botvidsson in the 19th minute of play forced Bankeryd's goalkeeper Mark Gudmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Gudmundsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Botvidsson in the 21st minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, FC Kickers's Alf Ennegren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Gudmundsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Bankeryd's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Ennegren came free, but Mark Gudmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sture Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Botvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Gudmundsson having to interfere. Alf Ennegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, FC Kickers's goalkeeper Albin Ahlrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peder Bank. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Peder Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albin Ahlrot having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, FC Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Bank came free, but Albin Ahlrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes FC Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Sture Svensson. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Rutger Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bankeryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Rutger Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albin Ahlrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, one of FC Kickers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Bankeryd. Mikael Rang stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Albin Ahlrot. 1-2. Alf Ennegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Gudmundsson having to interfere. Albin Ahlrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sture Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Rutger Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rutger Lindholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albin Ahlrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded FC Kickers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bankeryd.
