If Arvid Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cevzters If's zone, Arvid Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helge Kellman came out of the goal and Arvid Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Måns Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cevzters If's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Åhlberg in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Vester saved Hörby FF from getting behind. Bernt Nordgren was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, one of Hörby FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute Ove Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christopher Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Viggo Brenner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Kellman having to interfere. If Hampus Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Ove Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvid Nyberg scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helge Kellman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hampus Algren to make the kick off. Tom Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Åhlberg in the 55th minute of the match. Hampus Algren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Helge Kellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hörby FF's Tom Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Åhlberg in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Hampus Algren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hörby FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Hampus Algren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helge Kellman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st match minute, Cevzters If was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. Tom Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Blanck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hampus Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Hörby FF's Urban Wikander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helge Kellman. That made the score 1-2 after 79 minutes of play. Cevzters If's Ove Axelsson suffered a sore thigh after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Viggo Brenner's late challenge caught a Cevzters If's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viggo Brenner helped the player get up and apologised. Viggo Brenner hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Emanuel Blanck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Tom Vester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Urban Wikander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Emanuel Blanck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Hörby FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hörby FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
