Agne Kilstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Björk charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 14 played minutes Skogstorp got a freekick which was hit by Sten Björk. 17 minutes into the match, Ljungen FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Gråberg came free, but Agne Kilstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Björk in the 21st minute of play forced Ljungen FF's goalkeeper Agne Kilstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Gråberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Kilstedt having to interfere. Emil Kaxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Asserlindh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ted Gråberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Sjöman kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Pontus Lövskog, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Gråberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gilbert Karlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agne Kilstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sten Björk hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Skogstorp's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pontus Lövskog in the 62nd minute. The corner ended in Pontus Lövskog almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ljungen FF's Agne Kilstedt did a great save. In the 63rd match minute, Ljungen FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Walroth to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Ted Gråberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ted Gråberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agne Kilstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ted Gråberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Agne Kilstedt was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Ted Gråberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ted Gråberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 88th minute, Roland Asserlindh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ljungen FF's goalkeeper Agne Kilstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Skogstorp could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ljungen FF throughout the match.
