Tomas Hökkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 26 played minutes askari got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Lundberg. A collision led to Arboninho FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sven-Olof Kjellberg hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, askari's Jim Sundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Hökkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christer Björkdahl was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Blomberg got free with Tomas Hökkvist in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Hökkvist was a little too slow when Sven-Åke Näver got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Blomberg in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Hökkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Torsten Lundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Ture Wallmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Elof Rolandsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Niclas Nordkvist got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for askari. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. askari walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
