Ulricehamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arbrå BK's Tom Kock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Söderström in the 34th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

But to his dismay, Johannes Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Johannes Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Bo Bremming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Rönn in the 88th minute of play. Matthias Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Bremming having to interfere. Michel Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Kock having to interfere. Tom Kock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Svensson in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ulricehamn had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
