The crowd rose to their feet as Fredrik Hääger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Ekberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After 15 minutes Träfot IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jens-Ola Berggren who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jens-Ola Berggren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adam Wahlström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thomas Karlstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Adam Wahlström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Stefan Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Wahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kristinehamn getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jens-Ola Berggren hit a great ball. Adam Wahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Karlstedt in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Kristinehamn's Andreas Wikander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Wahlström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Träfot IF's Adam Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Ennegren in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Träfot IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Alén came free, but Adam Wahlström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Thomas Karlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Wahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Wahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Karlstedt in the 46th minute of the match. Martin Ekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Hääger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fredrik Hääger was the one to do the kick off. Michel Falkrantz's late challenge caught a Träfot IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Falkrantz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Träfot IF booed when Kristinehamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Falkrantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Eskilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Hökqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Michel Falkrantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Karlstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Wahlström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Karlstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Träfot IF's goalkeeper Adam Wahlström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arman Alén. Arman Alén's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Adam Wahlström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adam Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Karlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Arman Alén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Wahlström having to interfere.
