Gabriel Gustavsson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Patrik Hurtig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torestorp Redhawks. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claes Forssell in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Hurtig saved Göta BK from getting behind. Malte Emander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Jönsätt having to interfere. Göta BK's Emanuel Melin got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Åke Falk to strike the kick off in the second half. If Malte Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Göta BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torestorp Redhawks the free kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Gabriel Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torestorp Redhawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Gustavsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birger Nordin was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Patrik Hurtig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Forssell in the 86th minute of play. Gabriel Gustavsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Patrik Hurtig made a huge save. Ingvar Jönsätt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malte Emander went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Malte Emander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
