Casper Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Brovall having to interfere. If Claes Wallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Timrå BF booed when Real Madrid CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball.
