A collision led to Umeå FK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Andreas Larsson hit a great ball. If Robin Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. Kristian Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Henrik Abelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenny Österberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Kenny Österberg made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Österberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Umeå FK's goalkeeper Kristian Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ultra.MkII's Folke Siöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Utfal in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Ultra.MkII got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Abelsson. 68 minutes into the match, Ultra.MkII's goalkeeper Folke Siöberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Fredriksson. Kristian Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Abelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Felix Stolpe fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umeå FK's protests and gave Felix Stolpe a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Stolpe kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Henrik Abelsson struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Kristian Abrahamsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ultra.MkII. Stig-Åke Utfal might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Siöberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig-Åke Utfal ran back to his position shaking his head. Robin Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melker Winström's late challenge caught a Umeå FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melker Winström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th match minute, Ultra.MkII was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Winström to maneuver through the defense. Robin Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Siöberg having to interfere. The Umeå FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Umeå FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
