Stockaryd's Tomas Bröms got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Billy Björck hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Tomas Bröms stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Valrot came out of the goal and Tomas Bröms tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunnar Hellkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes, Wilhelm Danielsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal FC and the Stockaryd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilhelm Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rickard Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Bröms in the 43rd minute of play. After 47 played minutes, Arsenal FC's Carl Nordstedt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oskar Persson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arsenal FC reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Hellkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Oskar Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Ahlén in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Emil Håning notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Stockaryd's Oskar Persson. Oskar Persson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Björck to maneuver through the defense. The Arsenal FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
