Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Börge Ahlén started the match with the kick off. When Jan Ekelund fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PeterLynchBoys's protests and gave Jan Ekelund a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes PeterLynchBoys got a freekick which was hit by Jan Ekelund. Rickard Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Ekelund in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Rickard Valrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viktor Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PeterLynchBoys's Jan Ekelund got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, PeterLynchBoys's Viktor Kjellqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Valrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rickard Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Ekelund in the 29th minute of play. Jan Ekelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Valrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Rickard Valrot didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PeterLynchBoys's Jan Ekelund shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Ekelund made a kick off. Rickard Valrot came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by PeterLynchBoys's Viktor Kjellqvist. But to his dismay, Viktor Kjellqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rickard Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Ekelund in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Börge Ahlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Finnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Kjellqvist came free, but Rickard Valrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Herbert Svanström put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Tobias Finnman, was totally fooled by Arsenal FC's Carl Nordstedt, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Arsenal FC's Rickard Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Kjellqvist in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Börge Ahlén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Börge Ahlén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Finnman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börge Ahlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Stig-Ove Pååk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PeterLynchBoys's Viktor Kjellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 minutes, Wilhelm Danielsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal FC and the PeterLynchBoys players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PeterLynchBoys booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Börge Ahlén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Finnman was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When Börge Ahlén got free in front of the goal in the 98th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tobias Finnman was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arsenal FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PeterLynchBoys.
