The coaching staff of Sorunda protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edvard Lundblad had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Sorunda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Överturingen:s goal. Överturingen were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sorunda to leave the ground with a draw.
