Osvald Pihl struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Torsten Alefors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerljung. Osvald Pihl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Alefors having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Pihl in the 17th minute of play forced Rödeby's goalkeeper Torsten Alefors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Rödeby's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Karlsson came free, but Torsten Alefors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Osvald Pihl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västerljung's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvald Pihl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Alefors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ove Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Joseph Vedholm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edwin Jakobsson. Joseph Vedholm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 31st minute Osvald Pihl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Alefors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Alefors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Pihl in the 42nd minute of play. Rödeby's Torsten Alefors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Karlsson in the 43rd minute of play.

Edwin Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Kleen in the 55th minute of play. Ove Åman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Torsten Alefors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Bammerman charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Bammerman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Västerljung booed when Rödeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Bammerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rödeby's Torsten Alefors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Rödeby from getting a goal against them. When Ingmar Kleen came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rödeby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingmar Kleen couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Västerljung booed when Rödeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Ahlqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Bollström, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Rödeby's Torsten Alefors got control of the ball when Osvald Pihl tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Simon Stenman fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västerljung's protests and gave Simon Stenman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Västerljung's Simon Stenman got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Ingmar Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwin Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Ingmar Kleen came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Rödeby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingmar Kleen couldn't finish the play.
