The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hans Skoog didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Knut Bengtsson went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Ramsberg defense, Lars Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Skoog. The Ramsberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Skoog should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Hermansson in the 22nd minute of play forced Ramsberg's goalkeeper Hans Skoog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Skoog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Bengtsson in the 23rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ramsberg's Jonatan Backlund threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingvar Vibjörnsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 26 minutes into the match, Ramsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Sundström came free, but Hans Skoog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Backlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Erik Nilsson in the 31st minute. After 31 minutes, Lars Hermansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Remne IK and the Ramsberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Lars Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Nilsson in the 42nd minute of play forced Ramsberg's goalkeeper Hans Skoog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Remne IK booed when Ramsberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Siöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Håkansson charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Håkansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Ramsberg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Remne IK were winning 0-5.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knut Bengtsson in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Skoog saved Ramsberg from getting behind. Jonatan Backlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Vibjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Knut Bengtsson got free with Hans Skoog in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans Skoog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Skoog made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Lars Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. With 67 minutes on the clock, Henric Andreasson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Vidar Sjöström walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 73rd match minute, Remne IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Sundström to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes, Ramsberg's Vidar Sjöström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonatan Backlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ramsberg reached it. 84 minutes in the game, Knut Bengtsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hans Skoog having to interfere. Sakarias Andberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Remne IK's Zebastian Salkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ramsberg's Sven-Erik Nilsson in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Remne IK's goalie prevented a goal. Zebastian Salkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Skoog having to interfere. When Erik Håkansson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. A collision led to Ramsberg getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Erik Håkansson hit a great ball.
