Georg Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Fernkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th match minute, Lima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Bjurström to maneuver through the defense. Georg Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Fernkvist in the 7th minute of the match. Väja IF's Per-Olof Wennerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Lima FC's Paul Kilberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Jansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lima FC's goalkeeper Bertil Sjöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paul Kilberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Jansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Kilberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Georg Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Kilberg in the 26th minute of play. Nils-Emil Eskilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stellan Fernkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Jansson having to interfere. If Paul Kilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Kilberg struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Georg Jansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lima FC. Stellan Fernkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Jansson having to interfere. Roger Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Per-Olof Wennerberg made the kick off in the second half. Väja IF's Georg Jansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Väja IF from getting a goal against them. If Nils-Emil Eskilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jack Stålman hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Sebastian Wennerberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Väja IF's Georg Jansson didn't even have to move. After 71st play minutes Paul Kilberg shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Georg Jansson and just under the crossbar into goal. Bertil Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Olof Wennerberg in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Väja IF got a freekick which was hit by Brian Hultman. Stellan Fernkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Georg Jansson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stellan Fernkvist struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Georg Jansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lima FC. Dick Bjurström's late challenge caught a Väja IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Bjurström helped the player get up and apologised. Lima FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
