Erland Åman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of Enviken booed when Tyresö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Westerstrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, Tyresö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Knutsson to maneuver through the defense. Kennet Lustig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Åman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Torbjörn Uggla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Erik Holmberg in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Kennet Lustig notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tyresö FF's Erland Åman. Erland Åman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Tyresö FF's Erland Åman got control of the ball when Kennet Lustig tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Tyresö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Boström to maneuver through the defense. Östen Skålberg kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Sven Alfors charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Alfors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Sven Alfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Boström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils-Erik Holmberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torbjörn Uggla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils-Erik Holmberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Torbjörn Uggla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Erik Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Kennet Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyresö FF's Erland Åman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Engman in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Tyresö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Lustig came free, but Erland Åman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Tyresö FF got a freekick which was hit by Tage Frisck. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Engman in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erland Åman saved Tyresö FF from getting behind. Nils Engman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Erland Åman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tyresö FF's Erland Åman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Engman in the 82nd minute of play. Nils Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Åman having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kennet Lustig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erland Åman was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Erland Åman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Engman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Nils Engman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erland Åman. Tyresö FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Engman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tyresö FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Enviken.
