Maximilian Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Fernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 17th match minute, Swede United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Åberg to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Adam Frisk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swede United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Frisk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mårten Ahlfors was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Swede United's goalkeeper Tommy Kinnman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd minute Mårten Ahlfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kinnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Malmö Sharks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
