Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's Nils Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Arvidsson in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Rudolf Koch made a precise shot to the right of Nils Ahlbom. Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rudolf Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Ahlbom having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Rudolf Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrfjärden IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Koch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils Ahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niclas Arvidsson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Nils Ahlbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrfjärden IFK. Jonathan Bjursell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Björklund having to interfere. Johan Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johan Sjögren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb got a freekick which was hit by Johan Sjögren. If Niclas Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Ahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Koch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Åke Hellgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Hellgren in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Norrfjärden IFK's Niclas Arvidsson got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Jonathan Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Hellgren in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Martin Jonasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrfjärden IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb the free kick. Martin Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Norrfjärden IFK's Niclas Arvidsson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Jonasson got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th match minute, Norrfjärden IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's zone, Niclas Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Ahlbom came out of the goal and Niclas Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's goalkeeper Nils Ahlbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 79 minutes, Jan-Åke Hellgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Hellgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jan-Åke Hellgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patrick Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Bjursell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Norrfjärden IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Hellgren came free, but Patrick Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Hellgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Patrick Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Norrfjärden IFK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
