In the 14th of the match, Sten Jonasson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Mats Lövgren got in the way and made a wonderful save. After some careless play in the Anonyma Alkoholisterna defense, Greger Bjursell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Lövgren. The Anonyma Alkoholisterna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Lövgren should have stopped the shot. Christopher Dahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Gustafsson having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Greger Bjursell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vännäs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greger Bjursell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Lövgren having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Anonyma Alkoholisterna's goalkeeper Mats Lövgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greger Bjursell. A collision led to Anonyma Alkoholisterna getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Georg Stenqvist hit a great ball. Greger Bjursell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Georg Stenqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anonyma Alkoholisterna and the Vännäs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Georg Stenqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sten Jonasson made the kick off in the second half. Christopher Dahlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Anonyma Alkoholisterna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Jonasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 61 minutes into the match, Anonyma Alkoholisterna's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Bjursell came free, but Mats Lövgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vännäs were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Anonyma Alkoholisterna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oskar Hjortberg took the corner. The corner ended in Oskar Hjortberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Anonyma Alkoholisterna's Mats Lövgren did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Jonasson in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Lövgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mats Lövgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Jonasson in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Anonyma Alkoholisterna getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Stellan Biörk hit a great ball. Vännäs's Sten Jonasson got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mats Lövgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Bjursell, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Christopher Dahlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Erik Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Greger Bjursell took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Lövgren. Mats Lövgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anonyma Alkoholisterna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vännäs.
