After 19 played minutes Lyckeby FF got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Björklund. A collision led to Kista ungdomsklubb getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gunnar Forss hit a great ball. Lucas Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Fernström in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Lyckeby FF's Evert Fernström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Nordström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Kista ungdomsklubb's Robin Åhman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Kalle Rydelius came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Lyckeby FF fans jumped to their feet. Alvin Walroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Forss's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 91st minute, Lyckeby FF's Evert Fernström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucas Nordström. Lucas Nordström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Evert Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
