FC Mjölner's Alfons Haeger got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Söderhamn FK's Felix Skröder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Björk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Skröder made a kick off. Erik Olsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven Björk came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Olsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 57th minute. FC Mjölner's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Felix Skröder scored to the left of an out of position Sven Björk, making the score, 0-3. 64 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Sundling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mjölner's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Söderhamn FK the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of FC Mjölner:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Söderhamn FK:s goal. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Söderhamn FK. Stig-Ove Kruse stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sven Björk. 0-4. Birger Ekeroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Fredriksson in the 70th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Söderhamn FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
